Epic-but not really.

Hey guys! I just completed the book "Epic". When I was halfway through this book, I thought the author should have named it something like "Epically Boring" or "The Big Book of Boredom".  Unfortunately, as the book came to a close, my opinion didn't change. I have to agree with Ameer on this book; it is way too game-ish and scientific. It was also really hard to get a good mental picture of the setting.

This book is set in the future and is based on another planet because of Earth's destruction. There is this videogame called Epic, that is basically the planet's economy. This game's design allows the players to create their own warrior to fight in big contests between the citizens and Government. The main character, Erik, plays the Epic game day and night to try to destroy the Government's best Warriors.  By destroying the warriors, the entire government would fall and he and the citizens could adjust the laws to their liking. With all of the wealth Erik possessed from slaying  a dragon, he and his friends now have a good chance to defeat the government  of the New Earth.

This is my last glorious blog of the summer. I hope you guys have enjoyed my very memorable blogging . By the way, I do not recommend this book to anybody!Have a good rest of your summer.
